A redesign of an e-book by the same name published in 2016 by the New York Education and Environmental Conservation Departments, The Atlas of Inland Fishes showcases the watercolor paintings of Ellen Edmonson, which were made between 1926 and 1931 for the first New York Biological Survey and are still used today for identifying New York’s river fish.
